I started my journey with clay by taking classes at the Art Student’s League of Denver. After about two years of classes, I built a home studio where I could further learn and explore the medium.

Insect-Themed Ceramics

I use scientific reference imagery to hand-paint insects on functional porcelain items. I have always been fascinated by insects. While I don’t fully research every insect that I paint, I often notice small details while I paint them that I would otherwise overlook.
